KETOROL D.T. is prescribed to relieve and manage short-term post-operative dental pain, acute dental pain, and musculoskeletal pain.
Dosage and Administration
10 mg every 4 to 6 hours as required
KETOROL D.T. contains Ketorolac, a Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug (NSAID), and is recommended for short-term consumption only (up to 7 days)
Medication not meant for chronic use
Doses exceeding 40 mg per day should be taken with caution along with a suitable diet, as suggested by the doctor

- Patients with cardiovascular disease or risk factors for cardiovascular disease may be at greater risk, since Ketorolac is a Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug (NSAID)
- The long-term administration of Ketorolac Tromethamine is not recommended as the incidence of side-effects increases with the duration of treatment
- It may adversely affect foetal circulation in the third trimester of pregnancy and increase the risk of Uterine Haemorrhage
- Patients with mild to moderate hepatic insufficiency should consume KETOROL D.T. with caution
- Should not be prescribed to patients with severe liver impairment or active liver disease
- Keep away from children below the age of 16 years
Hematologic Events:
Postoperative wound haemorrhage, rarely requiring blood transfusion, Thrombocytopenia, Epistaxis, Leukopenia.
Hypersensitivity reactions:
Bronchospasm, Laryngeal Edema, Asthma, Hypotension, Flushing, Rash, Anaphylaxis, and Anaphylactoid Reactions.
Dermatology:
Lyell's Syndrome, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Exfoliative Dermatitis, Maculopapular Rash, Urticarial.
Central Nervous System:
Convulsions, Hallucinations, Hyperkinesia, Hearing Loss, Aseptic Meningitis, Extrapyramidal Symptoms.
Hepatic Events:
Hepatitis, Liver Failure, Cholestatic Jaundice.
Cardiovascular:
Pulmonary Edema, Hypotension, Flushing.
Gastrointestinal Events:
Gastrointestinal Haemorrhage, Peptic Ulceration, Gastrointestinal Perforation, Pancreatitis, Melena.
Renal Events:
Acute Renal Failure, Flank Pain with or without Hematuria and/or Azotemia, Nephritis, Hyponatremia, Hyperkalemia, Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, Urinary Retention.
