  • It is recommended for the symptomatic relief of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma & chronic bronchitis
  • Sugar free sucralose base composition can be preferred by diabetics and patients with cardiac risk factors.​

1. Recommended dosage*:

  • Adults: 2 teaspoons or 10 ml - Thrice a day.
  • Children: 6-12 years: 1 teaspoon or 5 ml 3-4 times /day.
  • Children 2-6 years: ¼ - ½ teaspoon or 2.5 ml 3-4 times a day.

2. In cases of acute cough normally given for 3-5 days.

3. Chronic cough - Clinical expert’s decision based on condition and symptoms.

4. Avoid using larger and more frequent doses to avoid the risk of adverse effects.

Use with caution with patients who have renal and hepatic dysfunction, gastric or intestinal ulcer/irritation, heart disease, arrhythmias etc.​

Patients with renal and hepatic dysfunction, gastric or intestinal ulcer/irritation, heart disease, arrhythmias, glaucoma, liver diseases, recent fever, thyroid, seizures, drug or food allergies would need to use this medication with caution

Patients with porphyria should use the medication with caution as it contains Guaifenesin which is possibly porphyrogenic.

Please consult your doctor to use this medication during pregnancy/lactation as the components of this medication may cross the placental barrier and/ or get secreted via breast milk. Use only f prescribed by a doctor/physician
